When you create a new account at mixed drink world, so you can log in, one of the things you'll have to do is pick a unique username. This page gives some advice on this, and also details uses of accounts which are not acceptable.

Choosing a username

Mixeddrinkworld.com does not allow usernames that are confusing, misleading, disruptive, promotional or offensive. In most cases, if you have to ask its not allowed but if it is one that is on the boarder line just send us and email for approval, otherwise you may choose a new username; in egregious cases, your account will simply be permanently blocked.

Confusing usernames and Not accepted usernames

Usernames that closely resemble the name of admin, administration, webmaster, siteowner, etc is not allowed.
Username that have a domain extension are strictly forbidden, such as .com .net or even com or net done use them.
Usernames that consist of a confusingly random or lengthy sequence of characters, e.g. "tgbtgbtgbtgb" or "aaaaaaaaaaaa" is not allowed.
Usernames that are extremely lengthy, e.g. "I am from mars and I need a really long user name".
You may be asked to change your user name if to long.
Usernames that are attacks on specific users.
Usernames that contain personal information about people, such as telephone numbers or street address.
Usernames that suggest hacking, trolling, vandalism, legal threats, or computer viruses.
Usernames that include profanity, or obscenities, or references to genitalia or sexual slang.
Usernames that match the name of a company or group, especially if the user promotes it.
E-mail addresses or web page addresses are not allowed no exceptions.
Usernames that are defamatory or insulting to other people or groups.
Usernames that refer to real-world violent actions.
Usernames that refer to a medical condition or disability, especially in a belittling way.
Usernames that include or references to reproductive or excretory bodily functions.

A username that is inappropriate in another language or one that includes misspellings and substitutions is also not allowed.

Reporting inappropriate names is a members responsibility. All submitted items will be looked at on per case basis.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user name and password. You shall be responsible for all uses of your membership, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify mixeddrinkworld.com of any unauthorized use of your user name or password.

Abilities given to users with an account

Once you have an account you will be able to submit new drink recipes , vote and rate existing drink recipes as well as maintain a favorite drink recipe list. The user will have access to all services provided to members. This will be maintained by the user and there are guidelines to the use of your account. These will increase as we add features to the site.

Avatars

All users have the option to attach an avatar to there profile. We do not allow promotional or offensive items. You will be asked to choose another one if it is not permitted.

Using multiple accounts

It is not allowed to post in two active accounts. You will have one account deleted without notice if this occurs. Please just use one account.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The copyrights to all materials, content and lay-out of this Site (including text, user and visual interfaces, images, look and feel, design,logos, sound, video, etc. and any underlying software and computer codes) are proprietary. All such rights are reserved.

Submitting / Communications

All recipes submission should be in your own words. All recipes submitted by members will be on the assumption that they are. Any member caught posting copyrighted material will be warned and submission removed , than if the user does not comply or persists they will be banned.

All form submissions including recipe, voting, rating and comments made but not limited to (excluding sign up) will be considered public in nature. All and most will be posted on the site for public viewing. Do not included personal data that you do not wish to be listed. For signature drinks you may post your real name or alias. Your address and phone are not permitted.

The use of promotions text is not allowed. Do not use domain names, phone numbers or any item that may be considered promotional in nature. All recipes are approved by the staff. So it will be deleted.
All remarks, suggestions, ideas, creative concepts, graphics, or other information communicated through this Site or otherwise sent to us , including without limitation, product or advertising ideas, (collectively, the Submission) will forever be the exclusive property of our site, who will not be required to treat the Submission as confidential, and will not be liable for any use whatsoever or disclosure of the Submission, and need not provide any compensation or acknowledgement for the Submission. Without limitation, we will have exclusive ownership of all present and future existing rights to the Submission of every kind and nature anywhere, including the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, transmit, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such Submission. You agree not to submit any infringing, unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic or profane material that could constitute or encourage criminal or unlawful conduct, or material containing spam or advertising content.
