Evelyn Ng also known as Evybabee was born on September 14, 1975 in Toronto. Growing up she loved to gamble and by the time she was 14 she was winning money as a pool shark. After playing pool got old she turned her attention to the casinos. She took a job as a blackjack and poker dealer and soon started dating fellow professional poker player Daniel Negreanu. Over the next few years she learned a lot about poker. She started off playing fixed limit Texas Hold'em cash games . Then she made her major tournaments debut by finishing 2nd in the WPT "Ladies’ Night" tournament. It came down to her and Clonie Gowen heads up and Clonie ended up with the win. This solid finish and her stunning good looks earned her national recognition as one of top female players. She also is a sponsored player at Bodoglife.com.

In 2004 she won around $50,000 in numerous WSOP and WPT tournaments with a couple of solid final tables finishes. In 2005 she won $100,000 from various tournaments but was yet to have a 1st place finish. In 2006 she was very busy, she was featured in the video game "Stacked" and still managed to win another $100,000. It was around this time that she left Poker Stars to become a member of "Team Bodog" at Bodoglife.
She has also had quite a few TV appearances as well. She was watched by millions on the "King of Vegas" show featured on Spike TV. She also made an appearance on the Criss Angel Mindfreak show. To date she has won over $300,000 from tournaments alone.
What's She like?
On the table Evelyn is a pretty conservative player. Her tight playing style has won her hundreds of thousands of dollars over the past few years. Off the table she likes to listen to music and read books. Her favorite food is sushi and her main goal in life is to "To be filthy stinking rich".
What's She Doing Now?
Currently Evelyn is living in Las Vegas. She is single and has no kids. She plays in many of the major tournaments and still finds time to be a regular player at Bodoglife. She has stated that she plans on winning one of the major events in 2008.
