Velvety Sac Recipe

1 oz Black Velvet Canadien Whisky
1oz Amaretto
Splash of lime juice
Preparation Instructions:
1) mix all ingredients over ice
2) pour into shot glass
3) enjoy the velvety sac

This drink was invented out of necessity. The bar did not have the ingredients to make an Ass Kicker (amaretto and southern comfort), so we had to improvise. We tried the Black Velvet and a little lime to take the edge off. The name comes from the ingredients. Black "Velvet" and since amaretto is an almond liquor, we wanted something about nuts, or nutty. Velvety nuts didn`t sound right, hence, the Velvety Sac was born. There are several variations on the Velvety Sac. If you use anything except Black Velvet it`s a Hairy Sac (must use canadien whisky). Without the whisky is a Hairless Sac. without the amaretto is a Nutless Sac. My brother tried to come up with the Bloody Sac by substituting grenadine for the lime juice. it tastes like cough syrup.
