Cranberry Hot Toddy Recipe

4 tangerines
3 quarts unsweetened cranberry juice
1/2 cup whole cloves
1 cups sugar, or to taste
3 cups amber rum
Preparation Instructions:
Remove the seed from slicing all the tangerines into wheels (rounds). Insert 4-5 cloves into the tangerines wheels. Simmer in large pan cranberry juice, tangerine rounds, and added sugar, covered, 5 minutes then stir in rum. Serves 4-5 guests.
Additional/Optional Info:
FYI Try to only use unsweetened cranbery juice. Most cran juice is mostly suger and lacks the real cranberry flavor. Plus if you add the suger it makes it taste way to sweet.
