The basic home or professional bar is always in need of some good bar equipment to take care of mixing drinks. The right tools make any job easier and more enjoyable. For a home or professional bar you'll need at very least or to have on hand the following.

The blender is very essential for mixing blended drinks like a florida rum runner recipe or a classic frozen margarita. Many bartenders prefer to use cracked ice or crushed ice in the blender try not to use cubed ice as it is very hard on the device. Consult the manual for more information if needed. If you are really into mixing you might also want to pick up a food processor. Also your bar should have an assortment of items like straws, swizzle sticks, toothpicks, coasters, and cocktail napkins.
