Alienware Wrap Around Gaming Monitor

For years many of us who enjoy pc gaming have had either two or three monitors wrapped around the keyboard. But with gaps between each monitor and constant frustrations with colors and brightness inconsistencies between each monitor. Well you are in for a real treat because Alienware has just announced the first wrap around DLP rear-projection monitor sporting 2880x900 screen resolutions. The picture below is not very good but it does give you an idea of how cool this will be for the gamer that has to have everything and can shell out big bucks for the best equipment. The monitor is still in prototype phase but should be available in late 2008 and an unknown price but you can bet if its from Alienware is wont be cheep.

We wonder what a microsoft word document or spread sheet would look on this monitor. What about surfing the net. We we will just have to wait and see.
