The most anticipated sports car in the U.S.has been revealed and is making its North American debut at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show. For six years the 2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R has been the subject of intense rumors and frenzied speculation. It will also be the first time that Nissan has officially imported the GT-R (aka Skyline) into the United States, so the company needs the car to live up to the hype that has been built around it. The Nissan GT-r will be priced around the Low $70,000s but expect to have some pricey options.

The anticipation is also been built around it power but the 3800-pound GT-R is said to be capable of a 3.5-second 0-60 run, an 11.7-second quarter mile and a 193 mph top speed. Some say even faster then the new porsche 911.The GT-R comes with all-wheel drive and an adjustable all-independent suspension. The car has a very muscular front end with a wrapped front bumper painted the same as the body. It almost gives the car a fighter jet look and feel.
